About Us

Pomeroy School, serving students in grades TK-5, is located one block east of Lawrence Expressway between El Camino Real and Benton Avenue. It is a beautifully maintained 60+ year-old campus with lush green lawns and many mature pine and elm trees. A large number of Pomeroy's students come from families with both parents working or from single-parent homes. To address the childcare needs of Pomeroy's working parents, an on-site before and after school Extended Day childcare program is available as well as the YMCA after school program. We also offer a regular pre-school program.

Pomeroy School is one of 17 elementary schools in the Santa Clara Unified School District. The diverse population of students, along with a staff of highly qualified teachers, creates an environment that is pleasant and rewarding for students and staff alike. We support the inclusion of Special Education students on our campus and serve both Mild-Moderate Self-Inclusion Specialized Academic Instruction and Resource programs at our site with open arms. Students have access to 1:1 Chromebooks, a Makerspace and a library on a regular basis.
